The Scottish Traditional Building Forum is starting 2016 as it means to go on with an extremely interesting and widespread list of event.

This month there will be CPDs delivered on Traditional Roof Slating, Traditional Roof Leadwork, Selecting the Correct Stone and Stone Repairs and Restoration.

We have also arranged a meeting of key stakeholders across the supply chain in Fife, Dundee and Perth areas to look at the possibility of establishing another forum in that area which follow the structure of looking for opportunities for joint working to promote and celebrate the traditional building sector.

Everyone involved in the Scottish Traditional Building Forum offer their services on a voluntary basis to promote best practice in maintaining Scotland’s traditional buildings to a range of stakeholders in the industry.

2016 promises to be another hugely busy year but with key stakeholders agreeing the key issues and opportunities in the area and working together to achieve a very tangible output for the benefit of Scotland’s traditional buildings.
