The property repair event in Penicuik on 25 April was a huge success.

The event was sold out and we even had to get additional seats out before the event due to the high attendance. This event was part of the Penicuik Townscape Heritage programme which will run in the town until 2023.

The event was organised to help homeowners to identify repairs their homes may have and how to start along the process of repairing their home and how to keep it in a good state of repair.

There was expert and impartial advice and guidance from Stone Federation GB, National Federation of Roofing Contractors, RIAS and Changeworks.

There will be a series of events in the Penicuik area during the townscape heritage programme to raise the profile of traditional buildings and the important role they play in the town.
