Have you ever thought of mini-golf and traditional building skills and materials at the same time?

The Scottish Traditional Building Forum brings you a mini-golf course using traditional building skills and materials for the obstacles which will be held at the Charlotte Square end of George Street from 5 August to 28 August 2016.

The event will be launched by Euan Leitch, Director of Built Environment Forum Scotland, at 1.00pm on 5 August. Everyone is welcome to the launch.

STBF is using the event to promote traditional building skill and materials to a range of people who would not normally attend or visit the vast array of events already organised to promote the industry.

There will be advice in the Clubhouse in the way of Historic Environment Scotland’s Inform Guides and guidance on how to find a contractor through the partners involved.

I hope you will be able to come to George Street, Edinburgh during August and have a go at the mini-golf as part of an enjoyable day in the city.

This, as with all STBF events, could not have been done without the support of a considerable number other bodies and their assistance is recognised on the scorecard as is the efforts of those who took time to prepare the golf holes.
