Traditional Roof Leadwork CPD

This National Federation of Roofing Contractors session will look at how to design lead into repair and restoration of traditional buildings. The session covers best practice for the laying of lead and highlights examples of the damage caused when work is incorrectly designed or executed poorly. Presented by Alasdair White from Southwest Roofing Services (A division of John Fulton Plumbers).

• Watergates – joining stone and slate
• Weathering – to cornices and parapet walls
• Cladding – wall, dormers
• Gutters – centre valley, tapered, box
