THE HERITAGE MAINTENANCE SURGERY: Discuss maintenance issues with professionals with a range of heritage conservation experience. Bring along photos and drawings of any issues you wish to discuss.

DEMONSTRATIONS: Watch as our masons reveal beautiful forms and text from solid stone, learn about the process of carving and perhaps try your hand at this ancient skill? See how artisans have used the magic of light and color to create beautiful stained glass through the ages, this is a great opportunity to get up close to an incredible craft that’s usually high up in clerestory windows.

KIDS HERITAGE SKILLS TRAIL: Complete our heritage skills challenge and get yourself a goodie bag! You’ll need to show us your carving skills, make a stained glass window, build an arch and construct a dry stone wall. Fun practical activities tied to our demonstrations for kids of all ages.
